Normally I find both the idea and implementation of April Fool's day somewhat lame. From my perspective, humour should not include the principle and practice of belittling someone. For this reason I find things like 'Beadle' and that really annoying in-flight 'Just for Laughs' somewhat inane and lame.
The group 'Improv Everywhere' carried out a wonderful 'Naked On the Subway' exercise. This is a safe for work link thanks to the deep joy of pixel distortion. The face of the guy in the blue jacket is priceless, as are the beyond normal "I'm on the subway so will stare into space" looks of others.
