Monsanto corn failing - An alarming development

The very fact that Monsanto's Bt modified corn is "it and similar varieties now account for 65% of all U.S. corn acres" is alarming enough. When stories start to unfold that these purportedly 'invincible' strains are being very easily brow beaten by Mother Nature through the adaptation of the western corn rootworm even more so. See here. This is truly alarming based upon the reliance placed on corn as a great source of food and food ingredients.
