Having been there, and seen some of these, I can attest to a couple of things:
1. If there is one city/area in the world you should put on your 'must visit' list, it is Melbourne. I lived there for a while and the people and the place are wonderful. The food choices are out of this world. The tourism options incredible for one and all.... etc.
2. The lanes of Melbourne and this art vie with that to be found in a walk around Brussels (I will find a link shortly).
