Fix It! - yeah, that'll work...

Microsoft announce their Fix It program. News here.

Somehow, they have gone toward encouraging my use of Linux Ubuntu as my OS of choice. While I appreciate the complexity of an OS, I also appreciate being comfortable with any updates that actually work rather than creating further problems... "...this is to fix a security problem..." Yes? Which security problem? You investigate and arrive at a page on Microsoft that simply states "A security problem has been identified...." blah-blah-blah"

I am not saying Ubuntu is 'better', just that it works. No mystery freezes or crashes, just works. Full stop.
