It is also a good message to anyone using a plastic board for food preparation to be aware of the hygiene hazards associated with them. In the EU, legislation was passed banning the use of wooden chopping boards in hotels and restaurants. Chefs and those in the know threw up their arms in uproar but the ban went ahead and the subsequent spike in food poisoning was the end result. If MT was appearing in chopping boards like this one I would be exceedingly alarmed.
