Thanks to MD for pointing out this rather splendid device. I believe it is still in concept stage but let us hope it gets somewhere. Currently appears to be only for UK plugs but time will tell. I particularly like the slot in multi-plug adapter and USB charger. The web site is here but does not have information re the new plug.
I think that they could also look at the way the Palm Pilot adapter works/ed with the slot over pin adapter for multi-country.

Their website terms and conditions are somewhat onerous and mixed in with the T&C for using their product/s but, apart from that, it looks good.
