I am resisting typing any statements regarding my personal opinion of Paris Hilton. The very idea of a petition to stop her serving time is ludicrous.
For the crime/felony/misdemeanor someone commits, is judged, and found guilty of, there is a punishment or penalty to pay. Whining about it does not help the 'mundane' masses so why should others feel they have special privileges that allow them to step above their social responsibility. Why should a petition be considered a way of avoiding living up to the fact that there is a real world out there that is not covered by the paparazzi?
Grow up. Get a life. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Don the orange suit. Live with it.
