For those EU citizens who are unaware of this (hey, the EU/EC are very poor communicators/publicists) there is this site.
They are currently promoting a document entitled "Cross Walking Eur-Lex - A proposal for a metadata mapping to improve access to EU documents.... we will see what transpires...
